Client information: Mr. Li;
Shipping route: Moving from Shanghai to Los Angeles;
Case summary: Mr. Li in Shanghai entrusted Seapoe to ship furniture, luggage and other items to Los Angeles for continued use.
Mr. Li needed to work on an overseas assignment for several years, so the whole family moved to Los Angeles.
In addition to the old furniture they were using at home, Mr. Li also purchased some new furniture. The new furniture was sent directly to the Seapoe warehouse, where the packaging was replaced to achieve duty-free declaration. All the furniture and items together amounted to a full 39.6 cubic meters, so Mr. Li readily booked a 40GP container for full-container-load shipping.
On packing day, the crew carefully inspected the furniture together with Mr. Li. Any issues were recorded in detail and verified with him before the meticulous packing of the items began. The crew carefully packed all furniture and items, including even a small rice cooker.
Seapoe's packing materials consist of three layers in total. The first layer is white cotton paper to prevent scratches; the second layer is pearl cotton for shock absorption; and the final layer is sturdy hard cardboard. The quality of all materials is excellent.
All kinds of items were packed by category in a clear and organized way, making it easier for Mr. Li's family to sort things out!
Even a bike trainer can be shipped by sea! Despite its irregular shape, the crew's skilled hands packed it beautifully.
With the door-to-door dual-customs-clearance service model, Mr. Li's family completed this international move with great ease.
As for the subsequent transportation of the items, Mr. Li monitored everything in real time through Seapoe's self-developed order tracking system. After the items arrived overseas and customs clearance was completed, the overseas staff also moved everything into Mr. Li's home, helped remove the outer packaging, carried the items to the designated rooms, and took away the trash when they left.
The price of sea shipping is mainly affected by ▪️the volume of items ▪️the distance to the destination city ▪️the services required, so please prepare this information before consulting us~
