Case Summary: Mr. Wang from Shanghai shipped furniture by sea to Houston

Mr. Wang from Shanghai relocated his entire family to Houston, USA. As a new immigrant, according to U.S. government regulations, new immigrants can ship used belongings to the United States duty-free. Therefore, after purchasing a house on the other side of the ocean, Mr. Wang began preparing to ship his furniture from Shanghai to Houston by sea.

Regarding international moving, Mr. Wang did his homework thoroughly. He consulted multiple international moving companies and, after comparing services and prices, ultimately chose "熙浦国际搬家" as his service provider for shipping furniture from Shanghai to Houston by sea.

At the agreed time, "熙浦" arranged for packing specialists to bring packaging materials to Mr. Wang's home in Shanghai to pack the furniture and other items to be shipped. Due to the long ocean shipping cycle, the packaging materials and methods are extremely important. First, pearl cotton was used for soft wrapping, then hard cardboard was used for outer wrapping, and corner protectors were applied to the edges and corners to prevent damage to the furniture from impacts. After packing was completed, "熙浦" transported the furniture to a warehouse in Shanghai for additional reinforced packaging.

The subsequent work was handled by "熙浦" international customer service personnel, who carried out customs declaration based on the materials provided by Mr. Wang, and then booked space and arranged shipment. Upon arrival in the United States, "熙浦"'s agent company in the U.S. handled customs clearance. After completion, the items were delivered to Mr. Wang's home in Houston, placed in position, and the debris was taken away. Throughout the entire process, Mr. Wang only needed to provide the relevant materials and documents.
